Initial Evaluation
A psychiatric evaluation is an assessment of an individual’s mental, biological, and social functioning, based on the person’s present problems, direct observation and symptoms, with the purpose of making a diagnosis. The assessment is the first stage of a treatment process.

Medication Management

Medication management certainly is a vital part of this equation, as not all medications will be received and tolerated by patients in the same way.
TMS
TMS stands for “transcranial magnetic stimulation.” TMS is a revolutionary, noninvasive, FDA-cleared therapy used to treat depression and OCD. TMS uses a targeted magnetic pulse, similar to what is used in an MRI machine to activate parts of the brain, resulting in symptom improvement.
Esketamine
Ketamine is a medication that has been used as a surgical anesthesia around the world for more than 50 years with children, adults, and animals. About 20 years ago, ketamine’s ability to relieve depression, anxiety, and some pain disorders in less than 24 hours after administration was stumbled upon by researchers.
Medical Marijuana
Recovery Solutions at Ohio Psychiatric Services and TMS Center is a fully-fledged medical marijuana practice that now offers patients the ability to be evaluated for medical marijuana treatment. Evaluations can be done via telehealth from the comfort of your own home.
